Default EPF not being part of the Salaries

Hi All,

  • Just wanted to know what are the benefits of having a PF deduction?
  • Many of the private companies do not deduct PF from the salary of their employees- what implication does it have ?
  • Does 'not getting PF deduction' indicate that we are not the full time employees in the real scenario?
I am very young to the job industry , I need a clear cut suggestion on this.

Thanks & Regards

Hello friend,

Please refer to Employees Provident Fund and Misc Provisions act 1952.

According to which all establishments which is a factroy employing 20 or more is persons is required to deposit PF.

It may be better that you check with some legal consultant about applicability and take immediate action on starting PF.

Regards
nishikant
