Internship/job in hr generalist/specialist
Hi this is pragya here have done my mba in hr & it in 2008. after that i joined niit ltd om talent acquisition and induction profile. i worked there around 8 months but then after could not continue due to some family commitments. i am planning to start again on permanent basis with hr generalist/specialist role. i am also ok with internship and contractbased job. please help me. note: i am in mumbai and would like to have opportunity here only. thanks.

Dear all i request you to please advice me on my query as i am confused about my taking up a new job or not. i have total of 2 yrs work ex in hr generalist role. i recently changed my job about 2 months back . here also my job profile is that of generalist role. my current organisation is undergoing major changes in terms of setting up new proccesses especially in hr. but our hr corporate office is in mumbai and here we are not the part of making the process but just following them. also hr in delhi handles more of admin work rather than that of hr. now i have been offered a job opportunity which will require me to work directly with senior manager hr and will be responsible for starting hr department with him. this company is a big jv between an indian firm & us firm. they have just started java in india and have recriuted around 9 senior people to start with. both the organisation my current & this jv are at par in terms of revenues worldwide. please advice that should i consider this job opportunity or be more patient and wait for things to improve?

Hi all i have joined this group hardly 3 weeks back and introduced myself as engineered hr. here i am with a question in regard to the qualification requirement for handling the hr generalist role. i missed the opportunity to enter into one of the big organizations just because i have a diploma in hr and it is from offcampus.distance education when i am entering into 4th year of service as hr generalist and today if i have to get onto the career ladder i was asked for a degree in on campus. my query: 1. does the qualification really matter for hr generalist position. 2. are distance education programmes not worth. thank you for the support and the response.
