Today about New Trend of Interim Managers in Indian Corporates nowadays.
What are Interim Managers ??
They are those professionals who have a pool of wealthy skills ,knowledge, tallent and strong vision about the trends prevailing in the industry but they work for a short term, often for just a few months, but in strategic roles to head a function or ensure smooth integration of businesses. They also provide good strategic inputs in the company.
But they work only for temporary positions and also are paid lower costs than the consultants also according to the Article these people prefer Flexi-Timings.
But i want ask each of you whether such trend of hiring skilled , tallented, knowledgeable professionals for short or temporary postion and aso at lower paid costs than consultants is Good or Bad according to HR Parlances or phraseology???

Flexy Managers
Hi,
The concept of flexible employment has become very much popular in the US, Europe and other parts of the world. Interim employment is a benefit to both, the company as well as professionals. While the professional gets to choose the assignments he wants to work on as well as the timings of his work, similarly the companies save up on the added benefits and costs attached with hiring a regular employee. An interim manager will start delivering from the very start without having to "settle down" in the work like a regular employee. The KRAs of a flexy manager are fixed upon which his/her performance is measured.
Hence, we should welcome this concept and grow towards becoming more and more open to employing flexible talent in our corporates.
