| Asking an employee to leave who has already given his resignation Hi,
As per the appointment letter issued by our company an employee is required to give atleast one month notice or salary in lieu of notice while resigning and the company also gives the employee one month notice or salary in lieu of notice while terminating him.
We would now like to change the terms of resignation and termination - Is it possible to ask an employee who has given his resignation to leave before his notice period is over ? If this is possible, would the company have to pay entire one month's salary to the employee or would it only have to pay for the days for which the employee has worked ?
It would indeed be a great help if you could provide me your valuable inputs on the same.
