Hay Job Evaluation, job description advice

Hello everyone

Searching this site has been very helpful in providing information regarding the Hay system.

My specific request is for advice on writing my own job description (Distribution Coordinator) for a better score in the Hay system. My current one includes such action verbs as supervise, liaise and control, but it turns out that they are too general to score within the Hay system.

Please advise on what action verbs are stated within the Hay literature that the scorers look out for?

Sadly no. Getting detailed info about Hay is like getting info about the Masons or Scientology!

Anyway I rewrote my JD with more descriptive language. Our independant panels disagreed with Hay's results so now we are about to ballott for industrial action.
