 Request for clarification on Minimum Wages
Dear Seniors,
We are a company offering manpower services to various industries under Contract Labour.
I have got the following doubt regarding payment of Minimum wages:
Shall we combine the components of Basic & DA under a single category of Basic (the merged component in this case will be equal or above the Minmum wages prescribed). I have been informed that there is a Supreme Court verdict which allows such a merger.
I request for clarification from the perspective of Contract Labour Regulation Act as well as under Shop & Establishments Act.
