Dear Chandigarhites,

How is life? Hope till now you might have planned your forthcoming long weekend well.

As per the schedule, we had our 2nd Ignited Meeting at Cafe Coffee Day, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 9th Aug'08. Despite of so many viewers of the post, Only 5 of us could make up to the final D-day.

The attendees were Ms. Manpreet(Spic& Span Services), Ms.Balvinder kaur(Contact Bridge ITES Pvt.Ltd), Ms.Rivti Chand(Fun Cinemas), Ms. Runa.P.Dang(Essen Professionals)& Ms. Garima(Freelancer).

The minutes of the meeting were as follow:-

The meeting will be held on Every Second Saturday of the Month.
The location of the same would be Tri-City (Chd-Pkl-Mohali)
The Directory-HR for our region will be formed and will be shared by all active members.
The agenda for next meeting was finalised too.
The meeting held in October will have a guest speaker from one of the leading industry.
The topic for discussion in next meeting is Retention of Employees.

Dear Garima,

I must congratulate you that you have got the group going. The mian issue is to get a group or forum started and rest all will follow.The next meeting would be on 13th Sept and you have to have the venue decided by now.also send in a couple of mails regarding the get together and the venue so that even if somebody has missed it the first time they get to see it next time .What topic would you like to discuss for the Sept meeting? Is it (retention of employees ) or is it for October?I would surely like to share my experiences with you regarding this topic.Do I have to get a formal invitation or you would post all the info on this site ?Wishing you luck and sucess.
