I have a query, how do you rate HR practices in Qatar ?

In MNCs and in few sectors like banking and oil & Gas, HR practices is quite developed but in other sectors it is just admin functions.

Its good atleast we have some one to share our thoughts and queries.
I believe that we are far from the HR perspective companre to other countries and atleast from India.Lot of development is required as, here we have the traditional administrative role to be played I hope few years down the line, we should improve.

- Annual Vacation/Leave details & Procedures
- Work Atmosphere/respect
- Details of Personal Growth in the organisation
- End of contract/Service benefits
- Attire
- Self introspection/contribution
Any suggestions advices are most welcome and will appreciate if you guys shed some on light the above issues.

Its good to see that most of the Companies in Qatar are now looking for HR Policies and Procedures. To frame any sort of Policy, we have to know the following:
1. Company's Purpose and its importance towards their Employees.
2. Qatar Labor Law
3. Method of Implementation
4. Practicality of Implementation
5. People Responsible for Implemention.
6. Scope of your policy
7. Most Importantly, you need to have a strong database of your Employee details.
Further, you can start off once you are ready with the above.
Thats my suggestion, because I have been involved in the development and Implementation which has been quite successful.
