On our presentation training courses we use an activity called, "Only a Minute." Players have to speak on a subject of my choosing for one minute without umming or erring. Pausing is allowed, in fact it's encouraged. Repetition is allowed, in fact it's encouraged!
So it's a bit different to that popular panel game of a similar name that BBC Radio 4 broadcasts.
It's fun and it gets speakers active with their anti-umming strategies. Hope that's useful.
