I am working for a company in Financial Sector. We are planning to launch an Esop scheme.
Just to give you a background about my work is, we have received the financials of company year on year & the extimated targets. We are planning to give certain part of profit to the Employees as Esops.
The challenge here is our company is still not listed. We are targeting to get listed in next 3 yrs time & would like to launch the Esop plan by 2009.
Need help to figure out how should I calculate the Grant price. Since the vesting of these stocks would be over period of 4 yrs and above, how to I estimate the linstng / vesting price.
Please provide your valuable Views / comments
Also let me know what precautions should be taken care of.
