let's be clear on this lagos is not the safest place to work in africa ie it is dangerous even by african standards. if you are going to work there go only if you are being offered substantial pay package,which is usually the norm, with adequate security guarantees. kidnappings and road jackings are a common occurance and black neighbourhoods are dangerous to say the least. don't go anywhere unaccompanied ,be in regular touch with indian ambassy and stay in a place with concentration of indian populace, you'll find many indians there. legal system is defunct and police corrupt, avoid them like plague. be on alert everytime and mind you this is not scare mongering i know people who have faced some tough music there. finally be carefull with your money, there are many schemes promising you heaven with small investments don't fall for that EVER. wish you BON VOYAGE.
