Dear Mantu,
in my openion it is a duty of every cityzen to help the police in performing their duties. it is also important to know what are the charges are levelled against him,if he / she is involved in acts of moral tirpitude,or any antisocial activities, it is your duty to take action as per model standing order of the organisation.

Default Have a private meeting with police

Dear Mantu

Greetings.

You have to strictly instruct the security to bring / direct the police

personnel to HR Office. Here you have to directly interact with the

police and ask him about the crime and the person involved, and then

based on the seriousness of the crime, you may call the delinquent

to your office and hand over him to the police, if the police would like

to enquire him immediately. Or you can arrange for a private meeting

of police with the delinquent in your office so that any displeasure in

the industry would be avoided. Your role in this situation has a major part

in creating a calm atmosphere in the industry

with best regards

Dear Mantu,

Beside above as stated by Mr.D.Kumar add one thing, if Police wanted his/her custody then you must take in writing from police before handing over to police to avoid any further complications.
