Hi Seniors,

I am working as an Hr manger in a hotel industry in kerala. is washing allowanace is included in the wages for the calculation of esi contribution? what are the other allowances which not included for the calculation of esi contribution. and what are the allowances which are considered for esi wages.
Ceiling is 10000/-. if an employee will be appointed as accounts manager and his salary is 10000 is he is under the coverage of esi scheme.if we shall increased the salary to 100100? is he is out of caverage isn't it.

Default ESI wages
Dear freind,

No need to deduct ESI wages for washing allowances, even for shoe aloowances also need not contribute ESI wages
Rs.10000/ is not coverable under ESI
