Gratuity And LTA Claim Hi,
I have 2 problems
1)
A person joined us on 13 Aug 2003
Wants to claim LTA for the 2005 - 2007 BLOCK
His basic from 1st April 2005 to 31st March 2006 was 10,400 &
GRoss = Rs.20,800.
His basic from 1st April 2006 - 31st March 2007 was 11,400 & Gross Salary = Rs. 22,800
Now he has resigned as of June 2008. And as part of final settlement we want to give him his LTA for 2005 - 2007.
At what salary do we calculate LTA? In this case what wil be the amt and formula?
2) Gratuity
A person has completed 4 years 10 months and 20 days in the company.
The person has resigned and we are waiving off the 2 months notice period.
a) Legally , is the person eligible for Gratuity? (He has completed 240 working days in the last year)
b) What will the calculation be??
