Smile Expat Salary & Work Visa

Feedback on the following is much appreciated.

1. Whats is the average monthly pay check / annum in USD to demand if working there as an expatriate Senior Manager for a oil / gas company.

2. What are the documents required for work permit application.

Tks

Badawang,

I may be able to give you a general reply for your queries:

1. Average monthly pay check per annum in USD for a job with an Oil, Gas and Energy Sector company varies according to:

- Nature of expertise - for example - Drilling/Geoscience/HSE/Facilities Management/Planning & Development etc.
- Grade - at which grade the above experience and expertise enable you to enter
- Contract status - Direct hire / or sub-contracted by consultant companies
- Your nationality

All the above are relevant factors which control the final pay package.

2

-Original Degree certificates attested by the Ministry of External Affairs of your country plus attested by the UAE Embassy in that country and again, it may or may not require a further attestation here at the UAE Ministry offices.
- Valid family book (birth certificates/marriage certificates etc) attested by the above authorities, which are integral for sponsorship of your family

- International Driving license if available, to convert to UAE license as applicable for certain nationals

- Proof of medical fitness certificate from your country
- Sea survival fitness course certificate, if you are planning a job in offshore

The above are some relevant and essential points coming to my mind at this point of time.

Regards and all the best,

Ramesh Menon

Dear Raghav/Badawang,

Just to add - the amount specifide is just an indicated figure which can be for Junior level staff. From what I believe, you are looking for a Senior position and this is too low for the same.

For Senior professionals, salary scale is in much higher brackets.

Ragahav,

No arguments friend. I am also in the same field. And that was too low for a professional of Senior Manager level to accept an offer (even if it includes other benefits) as per current economic trend.
