New band of Professional Tax

Hi Frnds,

There is some changes in the Professional tax band. i guess the people with the salary around 15K will have to pay a PT of around Rs. 100 and salary range above that will be Rs. 200.

I am not very sure about the figures as well i am not aware about its implimentation.

Anyone aware about the complete details, Please let me know.
Looking forward for a quick reply.

hi friend,

Profession tax Maximum slap will be 100 in tamilnadu .You are asking from mumbai.Bcoz that slap vary from govt to govt.As per tamilnadu govt maximum 100.

Following are the PT Slabs
Gross Salary PT Amt pm
Upto 2500 NIL
2501 - 3000 60
3501 - 5000 120
5001 - 10000 175
10001 & Above 200 (In Feb Rs.300/-)
