I accept with deepak, your friend should know the knowledge abt the company and the job profile before getting into the job. Its absolutely his mistake for taking such job.

Hi Vandana,

Pl check if your friend was asked to handle positions like CEO, GM and other senior most profiles. Why b'coz such targets suit only the firm which caters to these profiles.

But 4 lac is possible in firms taking care of executive search.

But being a fresher i do not agree a target of 4 lacs.

So pl as him to quit that greedy firm.

Hi,

The target given is impossible to achieve it is better to look out for another job or make the employer understand about the whole issue.

and Every month they will have to double it.

Is it possible? Is the kind of target and work load is given to him achievable ?

According to my opinion it is not possible.

Please give suggestions so that i could pass on to him.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Vandana,
I would say the target is quite tuff but possible.According to me if the person follows below mention points he might be able to achieve his or her targets of 4 lacs.

For Executive Level Hiring.
1) Try to get clients who hire in bulk every month for executive level 40+ and offer minimumm of 1.2 lacs per annum.

2) Charge 8.33% of annual C.T.C. to the client for every candidate.

3) For 4 lacs give the target to the subordinate of 2 selection per day which is quite possible.

For Middle and Sr. Level
1) Try to know from various sources like job portals which all clients are hiring for Middle and Sr. Level. And try to tie up with them.

2) Charge 10.2% of the annual C.T.C. FOR EVERY CANDIDATE.

3) For 4 lacs try to close 2 positions in a week which is again possible.

This way you might achieve or exceed your target of 4 lacs.Similarly for next month prepare stratagy and try to get clients with high requirements.

Michael,

Execuse for a second here. Vandana told that her friend is working in a newly started firm. I dont think without prooving thier selves on Jr to Middle management level, they would be able to get high end profiles like CEO or GM. This much high profiles are used to be given for consultancies having prooven exprience in same.

Also I think Vandana's friend is a fresher in Consultancy. Freshers wont' be able to handle that much senior profiles. Her friend must leave the job as I have seen & interviewed many persons who are not able to achieve target of even 2-3 lacs p.m after years of Recruitment Exprience. Her friend is getting pressurised by employer nothing else.

Correct me if am mistaking somewhere.

Hello Sneha...i dont think one has to leave the job. If one can reach 1 lakh target thats good and management wont ask anyone to leave the job as even they know that its very difficult to reach 4 lakh target.

Let him / her face the challenge and gain some knowledge in recruitment as it will help any person to handle pressure, market intelligence, become agressive, increase network etc...

Mates...Your views please...

HI Every Body,

Good Day,

I have read the comments of citehr members. The target which has been given to the fresher to acchieve. it can be easily filled or can't not be filled. If this recruitment agency is having foreign clients then very easily target can be acchieved if not its bit hard.

Cheers,
Mohsin
