PLease clerify abt the Certified Standing Order & Standing Order...... But we want sahre my view about the same.... Certifiefied Standing Order refer to the one given Industrial Standing Order Act.1946...... Certified Standing order draft one by the employer , to add spmetiong and remove and change from the certain standing order.... and take with consult worker / represntative and get approval of certification..... so its called of certified standing Order.....

Standing order is applicable for only factories or shops and establishment also ?

Standing Order Act per se was applicable only to factories, mines and plantations.But later on the applicability was widened by state amendments. As such many states have made it applicable to shops and commercial establishments which come under the Payment of Wages Act. Therefore, virtually all establishments with the specified number of employees working therein come under the purview of the Act
