You have to give 1 leave (encash) for every 20 present 9 as per leave rules of Factories Act -194  to contract labour plus paid holidays as per the norm of State govt.

| | Yes, if you are engaging contarct labour in your factory, there shall be compliance of EL/PL under Factory Act by contractor

| | Leave applicable to Contract Labour workers Hello all,Some of you have cited that leave(encashable) to Contract labour workers. But I believe that as far as CL Act is concern no such leave is applicable under the act. Here I would like to spcify that mine is a project site where contract labour is working on contractual basis( obtained licence under the Act)In other way their employment is fixed as long as the job is their. Once jobs is finished their employment is come to an end. Reqested to specify in details.Tapan |

The act mentioned by you is applicable to only certain state like punjab,himachal etc.
The other state are governed by rules of Standing Order Act.
Am I correct??
