| | Salary Range in UAE Hi All
I would be grateful if anyone can throw some light on the Compensation & Benefit situation specially in the IT field in the Middle East.
Especially, what all are the salary ranges for IT personnel there, starting from a fresher to an experienced candidate.
Regards,

| | Brandon,
The question is a bit hard to answer. Its typical in the GCC for compensation to be tied to your nationality in many cases, and further where your education and experience has been earned. Its been my experience that Western expats, from USA, UK and Australia are paid more highly on many fields. However it may been that you have a shorter term contract. Given the proximity to the Subcontinent and the skilled IT professionals that come from there, you may find the salaries much different from USA or UK rates is my hunch but I dont have first hand experience.
Can others involved in recruitment here, shed some insight for him, please.
Regards

Can you please quote the refernce for the figures posted?
My experience in the IT sector in the UAE does not reflect the figures posted. I am currently working as a Business Analyst in a locally owned company.
It would help me if you can cite the source of the data.
