how to be prepared for a mock training session
hiii everyone ,

I have a query regarding mock training presentation .

I have no prior experience as a soft skill trainer and I am looking for suitable jobs in this field .

A company after looking at my CV has asked me to be prepared for a mock training session. They said that i have to give a mock presentation in front of experienced trainers , from which i will be selected for a job .

My question is :-

Can i prepare a power point presentation on any one of the topic like motivation , leadership skills etc and present it , Is it the right way to approach ?

Or , if am asked to present on the spot , how do i go about it ?

I assume they look for skills like confidence, presentation skills , ability to convey and communicate .
Kindly guide me , as to what people expect in a mock training session and in what ways i should be prepared .

Thanking you,
vidya

Sorry vidyav, it looks like noone cares. 104 jackasses looked at your question before I did, and nobody saw fit to answer or even comment. This is a disgrace!

Is it such a hard question? I myself have been asked to do the same, and would like to do a good job without looking like a jerk. I could do a shortened version of one of the 4 hour sessions I already teach, but it would look weird, since it is supposed to be only 30 minutes.

Boy! If this is the kind of help we can expect from our colleagues, I'm beginning to regret having gone into this field!

Dear "Mr. Word Police" - SACHIN G
Oh I'm sorry, I should use your Indian name: "Douchebag".

First, before worrying about being the word police, unless you've got an answer for this poor guy, go back erase the dot off your head and eat some more curry.

Second, based upon your "Big Shot" Title, (Project Manager- IT Global Services - IT Network Security Specialist) it looks like you have NOTHING to do with the world of HR/Employee Training and Development. This is an HR site, so SHUT UP!

Go find an IT Network posting board to haunt, you jerk!

P.S. Is "Google", India a new town you've invented?
