I am totally agreed wid your opinion..It seems this cite is also going to be general sites not specific for HR professionals and I hope the Admin of this site should give proper attention, but seems as this site has already been popular, so they do not want to and want to increase the TRP or (whatever called in web mininngs)..
I hope there should be one more section say close the threads and , if the thread has got enough responses, incase if it's related with such sensationsal topics, should be removed either by the thread owner or by the Admin of the site, and it seems, because of such topics the informative posts are not getting good attention as students and young professional, see those topics which have good ratings and replies..
I request you to take a necessary steps against this, being the renowened member of this site, you will be taken care by site Administrator. We are ready with our best support, if you feel..

One category of posts ( where undoubtedly Peer Shb is the uncrowed King ) is "information" the other category is " Application". What use is information if you cannot Apply ? and what is application if you cannot discuss?
What reaction do you expect for a ppt except that it was good and thank you... ( which people have been dutifully doing? When it comes to Application ( problems ans situtions) the discussion can be limitless because the possibilties are restricted to only how creative or innovative you are?

If all the problems HR faced could have one simple solution then HR would just be a manual of FAQ's and nothing else. HR is not about FAq's...it's about innovation, about creativity and above all about People and anything about people cannot be single dimensional.
Discussion on any Forum cannot be limited because evry individual has a different way of looking at a problem and possibily a different approach on how to solve a problem. The Basic Charter of any forum is " NO Answer is a wrong Answer"... There are no right and wrong answer in any discussion.
Having said that i would like to make a suggestion here... Information is good provided we discuss the Application also with it. So lets not just limit ourselves by sharing PPT's, lets discuss the PPT's Lets make our discussion more Practical and Applied. Let the Theories be for Academicians because at the end of the day, HR is not about Theories but about " Application"...
P.S : My comment are not to hurt or disrepect any individual. My apologies if it has.
