Dear All,

As you have given good answers, which seem to be fit wid the situation. Don't you think a recruiter may ask something related with the answers as:
1. You want to chage for a better growth, knowledge never stops a person to be trained, nowadyas do you think a person needs a school training. It'a all upto you..e.g. if you are conducting a training on six sigma, you should go through the material to atleast have a view of the same and what I feel that's the only way where we all can learn alot, putting our personal effeorts and by utilising the resources lying around us.
2. You want to change as you have been sucked up with a particular function called recruitment & selection, Performance Appraisal, Training & Development, Employee Welfare etc....and that's the reason you are looking for change. Question can be why don't you try to develop other function in your compnay and believe if you successfully start this, you will be the master of that function...Don't you.

Bye the way I really do appreciate all of yours' view...Have a reat time, but if you are attending an interview with a panel of interviwers, your answer shall be WIDE...should not leave s single space for them to ask questions related...

Keep posting your answers and view, will really help us a lot...

Friends,

The discussion is really very interesting. But i would like to ask few question after you have given reason for your change.

1) For career growth: u want growth in monetary terms or non-monetary terms. If in monetary term which shows that u r changing the job for money which is truth but it also shows your unstability. The HR thinks that u'll leave the job as soon as you get an oppotunity with better salary.

With regards,
Kumar Ashutosh.

never try to blame ur last boss or the policies of the company as the reason of driving you for switching over the job. It really leaves a bad impression of yours in front of the HR.

If i'll go for a change, in such case i'll say i am changing the job because of some personal reason or i want to switch over bcoz i always wanted to work with an organization like this, or i am switching over for better growth prospects.

HR should be more mature and not always find fault with candidates.

They need to understand that sometimes even bcoz of employer employee leaves jobs.

Exclamation

If the reason of "better salary" is given, the candidate is always rejected as the interviewer thinks that this person will quit if he gets a better offer.

I think "better profile", "more exposure" or "more learning" would be a good option.

Let me know your views on this.

Hi,
if somebody asked me this question, i usually replied,
In my present job profile i cant explore myself , i want challanges and recognization in my profile through which i can prove my competencies.
Secondly, i said, i am looking one mentor who nurture my skill and enhance my knowledge.
if you could suggest me better answer ,please reply.

Incase of HR guys, if attend an interview and such question askes, wat would be your answer?? would you speak the fact?? If yes, most of the cases are hikes in salary, dissatisfaction with the job profile, fed up with recruitment and boss's behaviour is wierd or you will give a fake information for the reason behind...to get the job.

Please think over it and requesting you all, whoever come across this post to give atleast a two lines reply with the answer..
