I am a student pursuing PGDBM (HR) here is a piece of advice - I think there is no short cut to take up a role in core Hr. 1st thing which u need to do is try
& find out which is your key area of interest & then u can go ahead like if u have interest in Policy making or compliance then start reading lot about the topic & try and do a project related to the topic, at the time of interview u can apply & prioritise what u are looking for and not what otheres are looking in u.
