Default need Suggesstion

One of my friend in my company is being tortured by her boss.
She is very hardworking & completes her work in time but still her boss keeps on shouting at her even though she had not done as single mistake.
This makes her depressed very much. Her boss is not behaving properly with her.

Inthis case can anyone suggest me what should be done????

Need your advice

Dear Ramya,

1. Can you let me know what is your friend's and her boss's designation in the organisation.
2. How long both of them have been working ?
3. How many more subordinates does the boss handle ?
4. Are each one of them subjected to such behaviour ?
5. How many people are witness to his behaviour and what is/are their opinion ?
6. Has a formal / informal complaint made to any competent authority so far ?

The above questions would be of no value if it's the director / owner of the company and its a very small organisation.
Then it would be better for your friend to change her present job. I hope not everyone is the same.
My reply is based only on assumption.

Best Wishes & Regards

Communication is a life blood for any of the relationship. I would like to suggest-she needs to talk to her boss to understand her role and responsibilities so that both are awre what she needs to do and what your boss should expect you to do. If there will be any gap, then such kind of problems can arose.
Also, she need to undersatnd the EGO-STAGE of her boss. The EGO-Stage are of three type.
Parent
Adult
Child
The analysis of the ego stage helps a person to behave alike as expected by other perosn.

It is suggested to have an open communication with the boss as what he expects from your friend in terms of the result and let her discuss about her Key result areas during the discussion

Sometimes, the bosses harass subordinates just for satisfying their ego. If this goes beyond limit, a formal complaint to the HR Dept should be lodged irrespective of who the boss is

Regards

Kumar
