For benchmarking Recruitment and selection... You will have to collect best recruitment and selection practices from a specified set of sample companies (preferable companies famous for best recruitment policies) and then compare these policies with the company you are working for.
You would have to make a questionnaire for the same. It can be either open ended or close ended or both. After collection of data and interpretation, you will need to give recommnedation from the information gained.
These is what you are supposed to do while undertaking a benchmarking project.
