The task of filling up vacant positions in an organization is extremely important and must be done right in order to get the best people to work for you and take the Company forward with their skills and dedication.
Companies have been using a variety of methods to employ and select personnel to work for them and Campus Recruitment is one of the newest methods used by most Companies today.

What is Campus Recruitment?
Campus Recruitment or Campus Placement has become a popular and commonly used method for selecting personnel in an organisation. In Campus Recruitment, Companies / Corporate visit some of the most important Technical and Professional Institutes in an attempt to hire young intelligent and smart students at source.
The most significant fact about Campus Recruitment is that instead of the job seekers approaching employers, the employers come to the most suitable prospective candidate with a job offer. It is common practice for Institutes today to hire a Placement Officer who coordinates with small, medium and large sized Companies and helps in streamlining the entire Campus Recruitment procedure.
Benefits of Campus Recruitment -
Campus Recruitment proves to be beneficial for both parties concerned.
- Companies get the opportunity to choose from and select the best talent in a short span of time.
- Companies end up saving a lot of time and efforts that go in advertising vacancies, screening and eventually selecting applicants for employment.
- College students who are just passing out get the opportunity to present themselves to some of the best Companies within their industry of interest. Landing a job offer while still in college and joining just after graduating is definitely what all students dream of!

Campus Recruitment is exploring and identifying talented individuals with same group of people. It involves many preparation. Academic qualification and marks on the marks sheet is really something different from the real exposure of knowledge. Some times campus recruitment confusing also in terms of selection. If you are going for Highly reputed institutional or colleges you will be finding the people who are scored more than 75% to 80% it is very common, but it is difficult to judge on the spot. But it is the duty of the organization to pick up the best for their requirement.

Very true amardeep..
whether it is campus recruitment or pannel interview... the interviewer should also look at the angle of interest & attitude of a candidate. we should find out where the highest competence of candidate is? what he has done above compulsion... meaning if u do some work with full of your interest then no body can stop u... that what the Graham Bell & other scientis , famous personality did..? Post that we should try to link his interest to our organisation's vision & later on Job Description.
