Sir
I am an Engineering graduate 2006. through campus placement i join Lohia Star linger Ltd Kanpur. But after conformation i have resigned for higher studies . as per conformation letter , i should give three month notice period for leaving company. i have resigned on 26 sept 2006 and left company on 13 oct 2006. I am suffering from stone problem in both kidneys
so i have used that cause for it. i send all medical report that suggesting rest.
In my conformation letter it is mentioned same as in letter.
"In case you wish to resign , you shall have to give three months notice,and the management reserves its right to either accept money in lieu of notice period or request you to work during notice period or to relieve you of your duties prior to expiry of notice period."
my resigned was accepted in which i resigned for higher studies. after not giving relieving on several i left company on 13 oct. on ground of kidney problem.
i have signed no bonds , but only signed conformation letter. now company files civil case against me, for the losses that they might having due to my resigned approx. 20 lakh. I am willing to give money only for notice period. i have sighed no other document except it. Since my resignation i am at home not working anywhere.
company also charged me for
1) fraud and cheating
2)Offense of criminal breach of trust
3)Divulging the confidential information to other person.
4)Breach of service contract.
sir
is company is justified on doing this. please help me what can i do.
