Default Why I chose HR as a career

You should say, I am a people's person. Love to interact, am empathetic towards employees. Have a liking to serve, a Go-getter, fun loving attitude. These are some of the atributes which make a good HR person.

.......and, if nothing else works, simply say:"HR is my passion!"

Ha! Ha! It worked for me:the point is not to flounder in your answer; and besides, if you already have 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist, I don't see if any employer of repute would be asking you such a question at this stage in your career.......this is something which a fresher is asked when he is being interviwed for a Trainee or executive post.

Cheers!
