Fenetics are requested to stay out
This forum is not meant for fenetics like you. Please understand Kannada is not a language by itself. It is just a derivative and there is nothing in kannada that you have to be so proud of.

Kannadigas
You guys are kannadigas? or GANNADIGAS? You write kannada as GANNADAM which roots to Sanskrit and read as Kannada, just an effort to etch the Sanskrit roots. Modern kannada would try to de-sanskritise the diction and always fail by just trimming the final "M" in all efforts in vein.

I have seen kannadigas pronouncing even english words with the same equation. Example: Problem as probla ("nanga eenu probla'ne illa"). Poor guys. Do not forget your sanskrit and tamil roots.

Kannada = Hale kannada (the so called) + Sanskrit betterments
Hale Kannada = Old dravidian language + Telugu + local dilects
Old dravidian language = A derivative of tamil

Simply put, kannada is nothing but impure mixture of local dilects and coated with two main classical languages of Bharat.

Prasanna,,,what is your problem...what do you have against kannadigas. Your name sounds like a perfect kannadigas name...keep away from commenting on them....shows your culture otherwise.
