Hi

There are no CIPD centers in Sharjah. Except for few affiliates in Dubai KV.

What module you have taken ? or will be taking ? do let me know.

I am already doing PD&D the post graduate qualification.

CIPD and SPHR are two different institutions. CIPD based in UK and SPHR is a certification awared from HRCI, USA.

HRCI – Human Resource Certification Institute, USA,
PHR – Professional Human Resources
SPHR – Senior Professional Human Resources
GPHR – Global Professional Human Resources
HRCI – Human Resource Certification Institute, USA, This is a body which certifies, authenticates your knowledge and experience in HR through prometric testing center. The test windows have a fixed schedule and in Knowledge village you can appear for these tests.

Chartered Institute for Personnel Development, UK

CIPD in Dubai – In Dubai Knowledge Village you will have institutes offering Certificate courses such as CTP (Certificate in Training Practice) & CPP (Certificate in Personnel Practice).

CIPD in Sharjah – To the best of my knowledge there are no institutes in Sharjah offering CIPD courses.

Apart from certificate courses there are range of courses you can study on your own. Visit their website and you will have all the information.

Can U Tell Me Which Is Course Is In More Demand And What Is Its Market Value.

And Comparatively Phr V/s Cipd Companies In Asks For Which Course.

Both have equal importance and value as these both institutions are of Global repute. It depends on your organisational culture as what pattern they follow, an American or British.

Hi Salim,

I also keen on doing accquiring the CIPD and my questions are pretty similar to yours...i mean, things like you had on your mind about

-How much does the entire course Cost.
-What is the duration of the course & where are the classes conducted.
-Also, what time are the classes usually held
-Are there certain qualifying aspects on the basis of which you are considered eligible to join?..educational background, work experience or any language proficiency exams...anything in particular?

Did you manage answers to these questions? Also, since you posted your query quite a while back, it is a possibility that you have already enrolled for CIPD. If so, please give me some feedback on your experience.

Forgot to mention...jus FYI...that i don't stay in Sharjah and infact not too far from KV eithet, so that part of the query is not for me at the moment
