Accept the new offer or be in the existing job - dilemma
Was involved in a discussion with one of my close friends on a dilemma he was caught up in. he is a person who believes in working faithfully for a company and leaves only if he feels that there is nothing going forward or him anylonger. reason why he has been not less than three years in any company that he has worked with. longest being seven years. he has just joined a company from a completely diferent industry couple of months back and is enjoying the learning that he is getting there. but suddenly he gets a call from another company which is in an industry similar to what he was till couple of months back and on top of that it is a big name. he is confused on what his next step should be. his mind says to take the new job but his heart says not to let down the existing company that is taking care of him well giving him continuous learning and also has been of help to him personally. what should my advise to him be to get him out of this dilemma? rgds. vrk
