Dear All

Im an Hr Executive working with a pharam company.
I am handling their general HR activities.

My Company used to have a bpo and was registered under EPFO.
It was suddendly closed down after the death of the director last year aug 07.
Yesterday, i received a notice from Profession Tax office. FORM IV. a notice for a hearing on 5th June 08. "for failing to file the returns from 1/04/06 to 31/03/08"

My boss has given me the responsibility to take care of it.
Can anyone suggest me, What will be the correct procedure to handle this?

Please, help me. I am in a mess right now.

can you suggest me what should i exactly write and do i have to ask for time to clarrify all the matter?

Better to consult Advocate and make him appear before the Authority

Better to appoint a tax consultant who also appears in the legal matters....... relating to taxation only........ do not go for any other lawyer.........
