Job seekers, when you post a thread / replying in the forum Looking for Consultant, mention clearly that you are looking for job. (It will help the consultants to contact you, who are having the relevant job openings).
Make the replies short and sweet.
Profile:
While creating your profile, mention your location clearly, profession etc. However, there is an option for hide these details, if you don’t want to publicise.
Though you create your profile name, add signature with your original name, so that, people can spell your name correctly.

Congratulate the achievers for their achievements in Cite HR or in their Job or for any commendable jobs.

Dont’s

Posting:
Do not post thread / reply which is not relevant to you or if you don’t know much on the related topic
Don't post multiple threads on the same topic.
Don’t post a thread like looking for consultant; contact me with the etc. Make it clear in your post or thread that for what purpose you are looking for the consultants, either for getting a job opening or for having service tie up for getting the required manpower.
Don’t post any replies which are not relevant to you or without proper information.
Don’t post any message hurting anyone’s feelings/ sentiments / religion / caste / profession etc.
Don’t fall under ego clash. It is not the right attitude of HR Professionals.
Longer posting will make people get boring and it will not be attractive though if it have a very good message.
Do not make the replies a complicated one. While replying to the mails related to statutory compliances, if you are sure about the rules and regulations, then only reply, or atleast check with the relevant statutes before you post a reply.
Don’t post any rumors, which might misguide the people.
Avoid posting your contact numbers / mobile numbers / e-mail ids in public forums / threads / posts. Profile:
Don’t create a profile name with some objectionable name / words
Don’t post any indecent pictures or photos on your profile as Avatars.
Don’t hide your original name as it is not the right attitude of HR professionals, however, there is no compulsion to do so. If you want, you can hide your original name

Dos and don'ts
Thanks Umesh for the posting.

There is an example of what not to do on this thread.

One of the additional things I would add, is if someone's posting hurts you, go beyond the words and see the motive.

Beware of being a "kettle" calling the "pot" black.

Have a nice day.
